Welcome to Wallsend Community Choir!

We meet at 7.00 p.m. every Wednesday evening at St Luke’s Church, Frank Street, Wallsend, NE28 6RN. Our new term starts on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026 at 7.00 p.m. We will be learning songs for our Christmas Concert in December.

We would love to welcome new members, so please don’t be scared to turn up on your own. We are a friendly bunch!

We are a mixed voice group of all ages, who enjoy singing a wide variety of music in the company of friends. Our aim is to take pleasure in singing to the very best of our abilities, and to perform in our local areas of Wallsend, North Tyneside and Newcastle.

The choir is made up of both experienced singers, and those who have never sung before. No formal auditions are necessary and anyone is welcome to attend one of our rehearsals as a taster session.

We aim to keep our costs low to make singing affordable. An annual fee of £105 is payable once you decide to commit. This is only around £2.50 per rehearsal/performance, and it can be paid in three installments of £35 per term.
