Welcome to Wallsend Community Choir.. 

We meet at 7.00 p.m. every Wednesday evening at St Luke’s Church, Frank Street, Wallsend, NE28 8SA.

We would love to welcome new members, so please don’t be scared to turn up on your own. We are a friendly bunch!

We are a mixed voice group of all ages, who enjoy singing a wide variety of music in the company of friends. Our aim is to take pleasure in singing to the very best of our abilities, and to perform to in our local areas of Wallsend, North Tyneside and Newcastle.

The choir is made up of both experienced singers, and those who have never sung before. No formal auditions are necessary and anyone is welcome to attend one of our rehearsals as a taster session.

The choir is a member of the National Association of Choirs (North East) and as such has taken part in joint concerts both at the Sage, Gateshead, and the City Hall, Newcastle.

We have undertaken a risk assessment of the building, and will be operating in a Covid-secure way. Please follow the guidance issued by the choir at the rehearsals in terms of sanitisation and social distancing.
